NES games based on Wheel of Fortune include Junior Edition. Guessing letters solves word puzzles. Players take turns spinning a wheel with money amounts in most areas but can bankrupt them if it arrives on the wrong space. If a player guesses a letter in the puzzle, those spaces are flipped to expose the letter and the player gets the cash amount provided by the wheel spin multiplied by the number of repetitions of the letter. Only English consonants may be predicted; the 5 English vowels can be bought with profits.
