The arcade classic’s first Super Nintendo adaptation (published in 1991) only had two playable characters – Mike and Cody – with the third character, Guy, chopped to fit on a cost-effective cartridge.

A year later, this second variant of the famous Final Fight brawler was released in Japan’s retail market. It allowed you to play as Guy instead of Cody. This variant did not debut in the United States until the summer of 1994 as a rental exclusive at Blockbuster shops. It ultimately had a limited retail release.

Boxed / full copies of this game are quite uncommon, as you might expect from a Blockbuster release.
