The Family Computer (Famicom) and Nintendo Entertainment System video game Faxanadu is an action role-playing platform adventure (NES). Nihon Falcom (“Falcom”), a maker of video games, granted Hudson Soft a license to use the brand, which the company created and distributed in Japan in 1987. Under license from Hudson Soft, Nintendo of America released the game in 1989 as a first-party title in the United States.
