A first-person shooter game called Halo: Combat Evolved was created by Bungie and released by Microsoft Game Studios in 2001. On November 15, 2001, it was made available as a launch title for Microsoft’s Xbox gaming system. In 2003, the game was ported to Mac OS X and Windows.

The Microsoft campus store sold the Launch Team NFR to Xbox Launch Team members. It’s one of six NFR games that are part of the Team console launch bundle. Employees also have the option to buy it separately, without the console combo. Due to its rarity, this is one of the most sought-after variations.
