Donkey Kong Country is a Super Nintendo Entertainment System platform game developed by Rare and published by Nintendo in 1994.

Stores were given “Not for Resale” games to test and display kiosks. Potential customers could demo the game while you were out shopping before making a purchase. When the games became obsolete, retailers were supposed to either return them to Nintendo or destroy them. Most of it was left over or given away. The number of cartridges remaining is unknown or expected to be small.
