Outback Joey is a respectable-looking platforming game in which the player’s heartbeat and motion control Joey, the game’s kangaroo. Only in North America was the game bundled with the Heartbeat Personal Trainer (a rare variation of the Sega Mega Drive console ? see video). The Heartbeat Personal Trainer can play any NTSC Genesis game, but it also came with motion sensors that were tied to supported games.

Because it required the Personal Trainer’s fitness controllers and this set only had a production run of 1000 units, the Outback Joey game cartridge was never sold separately.
