First-person shooter Halo 2 was released for the Xbox in 2004 and was created by Bungie and Microsoft Game Studios. The critically praised Halo: Combat Evolved sequel, Halo 2, is the second game in the Halo franchise.
In its initial 24 hours of availability, Halo 2 enjoyed one of the most successful debuts in entertainment history, selling 2.4 million units. Over 6 million copies of the game were eventually sold in the US alone. We have been able to locate 9 significant print runs out of those 6 million copies.
The order in which the platinum hit albums “No Country” and “Made in Mexico” were printed is still a mystery. The seventh and eighth print designations are currently arbitrary, although I’m very sure the “Made in Puerto Rico” Platinum Hits release is absolutely last given that many Xbox 360 late print titles were produced there. It should be noted that these are also available in green 360-case counterparts, although these are not regarded as significant variations; rather, they are packaging variations without a clear chronology.
